Refund Policies

Cancellations

If a course does not meet the enrolment minimum and is therefore cancelled by Next Step Continuing Education, every effort will be made to accommodate you in another course. If there is no other course which is satisfactory to you, you will receive a full refund. 

Non-Credit Course Refund Policy

All refunds for non-credit courses including Computer, Cooking, Language, Law, Life & Leisure, Online Business & General Interest, Photography, Career Development, Diploma Exam Prep, are subject to a processing fee of 50% of the initial registration fee or $45, whichever is less. Refunds are not given if the request is made less than two (2) business days before the start of the first class. Refunds are not given for forgotten or missed classes, so please mark your calendar.  

Credit Course Refund Policy

For students born before September 1, 1997, 50% of the registration fee will be retained if a withdrawal request occurs after the second class but before the start of the third class. No refunds will be issued after the start of the third class. Non-attendance or no-shows do not constitute a withdrawal. Students must officially withdraw through the Next Step Continuing Education office.

In order to receive a full textbook deposit refund, all school materials must be returned within two weeks from the course completion, final exam and/or request for withdrawal.

 

NSF Cheques

NSF cheques and credit card chargebacks are subject to an administration fee equal to current bank charges.
